Ft Myers Charities| Random News And Notes

I am always amazed by the number of groups and individuals in the Ft Myers area that actively support local charities. All around Lee County churches, businesses, civic and networking groups, lodges and schools and countless individuals actively seek out some way they can help the less fortunate. I never go a week without hearing a half a dozen stories about someone going the extra mile to help out.

  • Sweetbay Supermarkets is hosting a "Box Out Hunger" promotion to raise food for The Harry Chapin Food Bank. The box of food will feed a family of 4 for 1 day.

They can also use donations of canned food, any kind of meat, dry goods, baby items, and money. For more information call (239)332-7575.
